When traveling in Canada and Mexico

Unlimited talk, text, and data is included in your current plan at no additional charge. No setup required. Your phone works the moment you arrive.

International Pay-Per-Use

If you choose not to add a feature or package while traveling abroad, you are subject to the following International Pay-Per-Use Rates:

Talk

  • $2/minute in Europe
  • $3/minute in the rest of the world, cruise ships, and airlines

Text

Standard domestic messaging rates apply to text, picture, and video messages received.

  • Send texts for $0.50/message
  • Send pictures and videos for $1.30/message

Data

Data usage is calculated in full kilobyte increments and rounded up to the next full kilobyte increment.

  • Connect on land, cruise ships for $2.05/MB ($0.002/KB)
  • Connect on airlines for $10.24/MB ($0.01/KB)

Pay-As-You-Go International Feature

Custom International Day Pass

Includes the ability to use your domestic plan in International Day Pass countries (see AT&T Global Countries) for $7/day. Your data, talk & text usage is applied against your domestic plan allowances with domestic overage rates. If your plan includes unlimited talk/text, you get unlimited messages sent from included countries & unlimited talk within and between included countries and to the U.S. Talk to other international destinations is billed at international long distance pay-per-use rates (see AT&T Talk Pay-Per-Use Rate). International roaming pay-per-use rates (see AT&T Roaming Pay-Per-Use Rate) apply in all other locations. Other restrictions apply.

Travel Packages – Recurring (monthly charge)

2G Intl Value Pkg - $5.00/month

Data speed max of 128Kbps $5.00/month (currently on promo for $0.00)

Unlimited data and text/picture/video msgs sent & $0.35 per minute for calls made/rec'd while roaming in pkg countries found at AT&T Global Countries attached. Data speed max of 128 kilobits per second. Req's domestic postpaid wireless plan (domestic rates apply to msgs received in pkg countries). Pay-per-use rates (see AT&T Roaming Pay-Per-Use Rate) apply when traveling in countries not included & on cruise ships/airlines. Other restr's apply.

International Voice, Msg & Data - $25.00/month

100 minutes for calls made/received when roaming in, and unlimited messages sent from, countries listed at AT&T Global Countries attached (see Passport list). Voice overage: $0.25 per add'l one minute. One gigabyte of data usage while roaming in countries listed at AT&T Global Countries attached. Data overage: $25 for each add'l one gigabyte. Billed as recurring monthly charge and req's two-month minimum term. Pay-per-use rates (see AT&T Roaming Pay-Per-Use Rate) apply when traveling in countries not included & on cruise ships/airlines. Other restr's apply.

AT&T Business Passport 22GB – Recurring $100.00

22 gigabytes of cellular data for use in int'l destinations & on qualified int'l flights detailed at AT&T Global Countries attached. No data overage charges; after 22GB, data speeds are slowed to max 256Kbps for rest of bill cycle (all data usage will be impacted & may not be fully functional). Also includes, for compatible phones, 250 mins for calls made or received ($0.25/min overage charge) & unlimited msgs sent. Package req's domestic postpaid wireless plan, is billed as a recurring monthly charge and has a two-month minimum term. Msgs received are billed at domestic plan's messaging rates. If domestic plan has Video Management, it also applies to package. Pay-per-use rates (see above International Pay-Per-Use Rates) apply when traveling in locations not included & when package is removed. May not be combined w/ International Day Pass. Add'l restrictions apply.

Travel Packages – 30 Days (one-time charge)

AT&T Cruise Basic – $60.00

100 minutes of talk, unlimited text, picture and video messages sent and 100 megabytes of data while aboard select cruise ships (see AT&T Cruise Ships). Voice overage: If you exceed your package allowance, you will be charged $1.00 for each additional minute. Data Overage: If you exceed your package allowance, you will automatically be charged $10 for each additional 100 megabytes. Package is billed as a one-time charge on its effective date and auto expires 30 days later.

AT&T Cruise Plus – $100.00

Unlimited talk, text, picture and video messages sent and one gigabyte of data while aboard select cruise ships listed at AT&T Cruise Ships attached. Data Overage: If you exceed your package allowance, you will automatically be charged $10 for each additional 100 megabytes. Package is billed as a one-time charge on its effective date and auto expires 30 days later.

How Do I Pay for the International Feature or Travel Package?

Depending on how your monthly data plan is paid, the international feature or travel package will be paid the same way. This could include payroll deduction or through an invoice.
